Return/Exchange Policy
BoomBox will accept returns’ precluding the product is unwashed/unworn merchandise. We will accept items for return or exchanges within 15 days of purchase or for purchases outside the US, 45 days. BoomBox cannot accept returns or exchanges on any non-wearable item, including CDs, cassettes, DVDs, videos, stickers, etc., after the item has been opened. BoomBox cannot refund, accept returns or exchanges for digital downloads or special packages; and all sales are considered final.
EXCHANGE FEE
At this time there is a $5.00 exchange and processing fee if you want to exchange an item as long as the product(s) are not damaged or defective. Determination of damage or defect will be at the discretion of our merchandise manager. Rejected returns will be sent back to sender at their cost and will be charged to the original payment source for the order.
REFUNDS
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable except in the case of a manufacturer's defect. All refunds will be credited to the original payment source. If the original payment source is unavailable, we reserve the right to issue an electronic gift certificate or issue a refund check to be mailed to the billing address provided on the order.
WHO PAYS FOR POSTAGE
Postage for returns/exchanges are paid by the customer. If damaged or defective merchandise is being returned, we will pay the cost of returning the product to you after you pay to ship it to us and using the return label on the form provided . For all other returns/exchanges, if you use the label we will deduct the cost of return shipping from the amount of your refund. The cost deducted will be $5.95 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item. If we determine at our sole discretion that the merchandise you return is not eligible for return or exchange, you authorize us to charge the return shipping charges to your original payment source.
MERCHANDISE THAT EXCEEDS $100.00 IN VALUE
For any returned merchandise valued in excess of $100.00, you must send the merchandise using a traceable and insured ship method. The return shipping label on the return/exchange form is not a traceable or insured method of shipping. We will be happy to issue a UPS Call Tag or Pick Up for damaged merchandise in excess of $100.00 in value at no cost to you. Please call us at (256) 335-6920 to make arrangements for a UPS Pick Up or Call Tag from another shipping service. At this time we cannot issue Call Tag or Pick Up for non-damaged merchandise you are returning, we will be happy to arrange other options and possibly deduct the cost from your refund, but this is not guaranteed.
WHAT IF MY RETURN IS LOST IN THE MAIL?
We cannot issue refunds for items not received by our returns department. We recommend that you use a traceable ship method to ensure successful delivery. Please be aware that the label on the return/exchange form is not a traceable shipping method and you will have to purchase optional services from the shipper when tracking and insurance.
